Jimmy Carter - Former US President, Angry Old Man, Race Baiter

I woke up this morning feeling great. I showered, shaved, dressed and headed downstairs to get a cup of my wife's famous and great tasting coffee. Low and behold, I get downstairs and who do I see on the news being interviewed? The one and only, worst president in the history of the United States, now angry old man who has no legacy and nothing to be proud of, the wanna-be one, JIMMY CARTER! When I see Carter being interviewed, it must be a slow news day. Or is it?

Let's go over a little history. Big Jim Carter was a one term president from 1977 to 1981. During his time as president, we saw interest rates as high as 21% for mortgages. We saw gas shortages, gas lines a mile long and the government actually telling us on what days we could buy gas. We saw one of the most embarassing moments in US history and that was the US Embassy in Iran being overrun and taken over by radical, militant muslim students and the Embassy guards and staff being taken as hostages and used as pawns. We saw our military and military budget slashed to the bone. We woke up one morning and saw our military's helicopters burning in the desert in Iran due to crashing into one another after our President, Big Jim Carter, decided to abort the hostage rescue mission. They crashed into one another during a sand storm trying to get out of the country. Iran had a field day with this. We had to neogtiate with them to get the bodies back of the men killed in the crash. Big Jim barricaded himself in the Whitehouse during the last couple of years of his Presidency because he didn't want to have to address the press or the people of the United States because he was an absolute failure and took our country to a very low point. It took a man like Ronald Reagan to put our country back on its feet. Ronald Reagan hadn't been in office for 24 hrs before the hostages were released in Iran. He first comment about the hostages was to call them "Prisoners of War". Frankly, I think this scared the proverbial defecation out of the Iranians to the point they didn't want to cross paths with Big Ron. Okay, now we have provided the background on Big Jimmy Carter.

Since Jimmy left office he has been working as hard as he can to stay in the lime light and do something that will make people think of him in a positive fashion. He started and took on the lead roll for "Habitat for Humanity". They build homes for people that can't afford them. This is a great thing and something Jimmy's good at. He has traveled around the world observing countries vote for their leaders, to point out problems with the voting and to ensure the voting is fair. This is also a positive thing and Jimmy doesn't have to do anything but travel around, be cowtowed to and wave his hand over the voting procedure that all is well. He's real good at this. But, over the last few years I have noticed that Jimmy has gotten mean and spiteful. During George W. Bush's presidency he made a number of derogatory comments reflecting upon GW.

Now we come to this morning. Jimmy Carter was asked about Joe Wilson's outburst "You Lie" during Obama's speech to the joint session of Congress. He said that he felt the outburst was based in racism. He also said there was a feeling among many in the US that an African-American should not be president. Well! What to say? What to say? First of all, I personally take issue the the term African-American. I prefer the term "American". In the US Marine Corps, we had no white people or African-Americans. We had light green and dark green Marines (OOO-Rah!!). This is the way it should be. Secondly, the only person I have ever heard use a racially tinged word against Barack Obama is Jessie Jackson when he thought he was off mike and used the "N" word while describing how he would like to cut off Barack's genitals. Thirdly, I never hear anyone but Democrats and the mainstream media screaming racism! I challenge anyone to give me an example of a Republican, Conservative, Independent etc... exclaiming they have been a victim of racism. Clarence Thomas anyone? If anyone or any group is guilty of trying to provoke racist attitudes in the US population, it's Jimmy Carter and the Democrat party. I guess we should have anticipated the fact that if we are against Obama's agenda we would be called racists. Where was Jimmy Carter when Nancy Pelosi called those attending the Tea Parties "Nazi's". Where was Jimmy Carter when Senator Dick Durbin accused our military men and women of running a "Gulag" in Guantanamo and comparing their treatment of the detainees to Nazi's and to the regime of Pol Pot. Do not be fooled. Jimmy Carter is a tool used by the Democrat party to create division, confusion and anger. Who better to do this than an angry old man who now realizes he blew the chance of a life time in leading the greatest country on earth.

Here is a great quote. Conservatives, take it to heart!

James Longstreet to D.H. Hill, Malvern Hill, 1962

“Don’t get scared, now that we have got them whipped.”

Have a GREAT WEEK!!
