This health care deal is smelling to high heaven. Obama has been saying that I get to keep my insurance policy if I like it under his plan. The only bill that anyone has seen in writing is the house bill, H. R. 3200, so this must be his plan. Well, according to H. R. 3200, I will not be able to keep my current insurance. According to this bill, once/if the bill is passed I will be able to keep my current insurance only as long as I don't change anything on my policy. My insurance company will not be able to sign me up to another policy and I will not be able to go to another insurance company to reduce my premiums. If I want to change anything I will have to go to the government insurance. One other point of interest is that I currently have an HSA (Health Savings Account). Low and behold, the house bill outlaws HSA's. So I will not be able to keep my current insurance because it has an HSA. Wow! It sounds like the congressman from South Carolina was right on this point. Obama also said that his plan/H. R. 3200 will not allow health care for illegal aliens (illegal immigrants or undocumented citizens for the politically correct). I think Obama is splitting hairs on this one. The current bill does address this issue. It says that people not here lawfully will not get Federal payments in Section 242 and 246. But this will be affected by the fact that there are laws on the books not allowing care givers or law enforcement officers to ask a person about their immigrant status. In other words, we will not be able to ask for proof that an illegal alien is here legally or is a citizen of the US. The biggest problem government has are the unintended consequences of legislation. It is a fact that two amendments were voted down that would have kept illegal aliens from getting government health care. This tells me that our representatives did not want to address the issue; therefore, allowing them to get illegal aliens health care down the road or they did not want issues coming up with health care when they try again to give the illegals US citizenship. Be forwarned, this is coming. On this point Obama didn't lie but he only told a half truth/withheld pertinent information. In my house, a half truth or the withholding of information is lying or as bad as lying. Put a "check" in the "Right" column for the South Carolina Congressman. Obama also told us that his plan/H. R. 3200 will not have "Death Panels". If this bill is passed, we will have thirty million people, at a minimum, going onto government health care. Where are the doctors to handle these people going to come from? I don't see a bunch of them in inventory. When this happens, care will have to be rationed. Some group of people will be responsible for deciding who gets care and what care they get. Sounds like a "Death Panel" to me. At the least, an unintended consequence. The bill doesn't mention "Death Panels" so Obama didn't lie but he is withholding information on the unintended consequences of the bill. The South Carolina Congressman was right again. That is three strikes Obama. As far as I'm concerned "You're Out".
Don't take my word on anything that I have written on thie blog. Read the bill. Below is a link to H. R. 3200. If you read H. R. 3200 you should be proud of yourself. You will have done something your representatives have not done but will be voting on.

Below is a great quote. Joe Wilson, South Carolina Congressman, stay strong and stay on the attack.
Ferdinand Foch – (October 2, 1851 – March 20, 1929) – French soldier who rose to be the commander of the allied armies during World War I
“Hard pressed on my right. My center is yielding. Impossible to maneuver. Situation excellent. I am attacking!”
Have a Great Week!
